Ivan: Congratulations to your team! Are you playing bughouse with them in picture #9 in the album? LOL Hopefully that was AFTER the tournament. :-)

Hi Polly,

I was anti bug-house at first, but too much chess in one day is not much fun. It's a great way to relax and the kids love it.

Some concepts like the the creation of advnaced support points for Knights are relevent in real chess too.

I am not in any of the pictures.

Ivan: I love bughouse. I started playing it back in 1972. I think there is some value to it because it does make one think outside the box. Too much can be bad though. I can recall times when after a long session of it, I'd go into my tournament game and start thinking "If I had a knight I could drop it onto this square...." That's not a good way to be thinking if your knights have been traded off.
